April

Eve had a little friend, Catherine, over today. Eve (whining): "Mommy, Catherine wont say sorry to me." Me: "You look like you're doing alright" Eve: "No I'm not, Catherine hurt my cute buns and wont say sorry to me. My poor cute buns".

On another note. Tim and I had Dining Out at the Naval Academy. It's a super fun formal event that we go to with friends. For those who aren't on Facebook, here are a few photos.

Another "March"

So, a fabulous thing happened to the "Vivi Dupioni" side of my life in March. Aunt Penny and Uncle Tom got me a serger. There are several things I love about my first serger. 1. It sews SO fast 2. It finishes the seams WAY better than my other machine did which means I was doing Hong Kong finishes - now, I only have to do those for extra $$$$. 3. Virtually no clipping seams 4. Two feed dogs - fabric goes through smoothly - it's truly amazing 4. There is a ton of other little tricks that can be done with a serger.... just waiting for time to try more out.
Above are some photos of dresses I'm working on this month. They don't really fit my form, but you get the idea.
Thank you Aunt Penny and Uncle Tom!!

March

Stop Bouncing on Me Mamul!

The sound is important.... the "hidden" camera shows who the real instigator usually is.

February

The most precious thing that happened this month is when I asked Eve what she thought about having another baby in the house. (I'm NOT pregnant, just curious as to what she would think). At first she smiled and said that she would like another baby. Then, she got all sad and said "Can we keep Mamal (Samuel)? I want to keep him". I said, "Of course we can keep Samuel". After that confirmation, she affirmed that she would definatly like a new baby..... a baby sister for a change. When Tim came home from work, Eve told him that she'd like a new baby but that she'd get to keep Mamal too.
Here are some photos from the month. As you can see, Sam gets his hair cut in style. And, Eve and her little friend, Catherine, ended up with the same rain coats. Can't beat that $9.98 deal at Sams.

January

So, the secret is out... I don't like to write. This is why I married Tim and why I'm such a TERRIBLE blogger. I'd much rather arrange photos of my kids or edit them for someone else than sit down and write about my day.

I did register Eve for Pre-school this morning. She'll be in 3 days a week for 2.5 hours each day. It sounds like a lot, but she's ready for it. And, her teachers agree. She's quick to learn and even quicker to get bored. I think it will work out very well for her. And, pre-school is at our church which is a mile from our house so, it couldn't be better for me.
