Eve Catching Water

A video of Eve trying to catch the water during bathtime.

Today, my little helper helped me do the laundry by loading dirty clothes into the dryer as I was putting in clean ones from the washer.

The last of the "feet" pictures

For the family members who have been watching the progression of feet pictures... the year is up and here's the last one in the series. The second picture is a good example of why it's being discontinued.

Baby Bungalow II

Due to the inquiries about the slings, I've decided to give a little more information about ordering and pricing. The slings start at $65 and easily customizable for your taste and budget. Even with the Baby Bungalow Basic Short for $65, you have your choice of 200 colors of Dupioni Silk and 8 choices of sling ring colors.

None of us have as many "special occasion" events as we'd like to wear beautiful fabrics. It is my goal to provide a fabulous silk sling that you can use and admire every day.... and what silk ball gown is this inexpensive, washable, practical, and oh so cozy for the baby?

My 13 month old daughter has loved mine since she was born. Then, she slept in it cradle style, now she sits on my hip.

Baby Bungalow

For those of you who don't know, Baby Bungalow is a line of unique slings for Mother and Baby made out of 100% Dupioni Silk.... and I make and design them. So far, business has been word of mouth but, I'm planning on asking some of our local Annapolitian shops to carry them. Or, perhaps, I'll start up a website after I see what kind of baby Samuel turns out to be. With these ideas in mind, I've started documenting the slings I've made. And, here's the latest crop:

Baby Bungalow Bling Sling: Polo lounge

Baby Bungalow Basic: Jewel Plaid

Baby Bungalow Banded: Glacier and Espresso

Baby Bungalow Banded: Glacier and Espresso II

Baby Bungalow Bling Sling: Blackberry

Baby Bungalow Basic: Black Cherry
I've checked out the MD state laws for making and selling goods. But, if anyone has any other personal business advice, I'd appreciate any help I can get. At some point, LLC will be a good idea but, I think I'll wait and see what kind of selling scale I'm working with. After all, I'll need to be able to pay for the license.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in purchasing or custom ordering from me - please have them email me at rhondafeist@hotmail.com. I have just around 200 colors to choose from and the combinations are endless. I won't hide the fact that the work isn't sold for Walmart prices however, I charge considerably less than other sources.

Tim's Drawing

Tim drew this picture of our niece, Sabrina, for his parents for Christmas. The original is 11x14 and is beautiful. It's the first real art that he's done in 8 years.... I'm encouraging him to do more.

Eve's First Birthday

I made Eve a cake at my Mom's house. Since my Mom loves to make cakes, I figured it would be difficult for her to just let me do it. But, I think she remembered what it's like to make a first birthday cake. And, it was fun for me to be creative and think of what Eve might like. Party guests included Tim's mom, Ruth, and his grandma, Clarice.

Nathan and Amanda's second child, Claire, liked the food and the necklaces.

My brother, Nathan, and Dad.

Checking out the cake.
