So, this is our car at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon. The storm warning is in effect until Sunday at 6AM. It's still snowing. It's also questionable if we'll even be able to see our car in the morning. I can't say Eve is very excited about the snow. But, this is really her first snow and it's like being attacked by a snow monster so, I can't blame her. When we open the front door to look out the storm door she shouts. "No, No, No, No!" and runs to shut the door. Then, she points to the closed door and exclaims, "COLD". Yes, Eve, we know. She may have a very long couple of days.

Playing Together
Those of you who have more than one child have, most likely, experienced the down right cuteness of your kids playing together. It's a new and adorable phenomenon for me. It's a joy to see Eve doing something with Samuel instead of sitting on his head or steeping on him.

The Wonders of a Vessel Sink
So, Eve loves water. She loves everything about it. But, most of all she loves to do what I consider "wasting water" in our little half bath. I turn the water on at a dribble and she strains to reach it and lets it flow over her fingers. Then, to relish it more, she puts her wet hand in her mouth and sucks off all the water. Then, she looks though the glass of the sink and talks (or rather instructs) the flow of water. Repeat process over and over and that's her idea of a good time.

Samuel
Samuel is doing very well. He has started on rice cereal and has taken to it like oxygen. He has a sweet, smiley and sociable personality. Even if I just look at him and smile, sometimes he laughs. He love, love, loves attention. Attention from me, Tim, and even Eve who sits on his head..... he takes it as a sign of love.

Walk in the Park
Saturday was a beautiful day here in Maryland. So, we took advantage of it and went down to the National Arboritum. It's one of our favorite haunts because we love walking around and seeing all the beautiful plants and, it's way under used so, we practically have a couple hundred acers of pristine gardens to ourselves.

Water Wing Wonders
Eve loves her water wings. She has NO idea what they're for because she's never used them in the water and, to my knowledge, she's never seen anyone else use them. But, that doesn't stop her from thinking they're the coolest. She wears them everywhere.

For Ruth
I have been horribly deliquent in posting photos. As a make-up to my mother-in-law, I am posting a video of Samuel with the promise to add pictures later. Right now, we're off to the pool for our play group. And, we never pass up an invite to the pool.

The Ball Machine
My generous sister-in-law, Kate, passed down a ball machine that “her kids” didn’t want anymore. I say “her kids” because I now think that she secretly has hostile feelings toward the machine. I know this because; I now feel the same way.
Samuel woke up for the day at 2:30am so, when Eve woke up at 6:30, I pulled out some toys and thought I’d just lie on the couch and rest. The nice, quiet toys that I pulled out were abandoned and I heard the sound of a heavy, plastic toy being dragged over our Berber carpeting. The Beast was being dragged from storage to a more convenient location – next to my head. The button was pushed and a song that sounds like a bee on speed cranked up, only to be followed by “Rockin’ Robin” with a multiple personality disorder. I had to laugh at how completely annoying the entire, sleep-deprived experience was.

Big Girl
It was a beautiful day in Annapolis and Eve and I spent some time in the yard. At 15 months with a bit more hair and walking around, she seems like more of a little girl than a baby to me.
